SHEET 02 · THE PROBLEM

The estimate takes minutes.
The drawings take days.

Every custom order sits in a CAD queue while the deal cools. Every revision goes to the back of it. And the quote quietly drifts away from what gets drawn.

Watch the whole flow —
typed to drawn.

What the demo shows: an operator types one opening's width, height and plank count, the engine drops in the center posts and re-prices the order on every change, then exports a fully dimensioned drawing set and a 3D model — six scenes, about 65 seconds.

Drag the width. Watch it redraw.

This is the same geometry engine as the working system — center posts appear on their own past 110", and the price follows every move.

SHEET 09 · WHY CUSTOM

Off-the-shelf configures.
Custom draws.

CPQ tools and product configurators stop at a quote and an options list. Production needs dimensioned sheets — and those only come from your engineering rules.

A ready-made CPQ or configurator compared with a Consedge build, row by row.
Compared onREADY-MADE CPQ / CONFIGURATORconsedge.BUILT FOR YOU
Engineering rulesNo — Generic option lists — your spans, tolerances and hardware don't fit the templateYes — Your formulas encoded with your engineer — center posts, braces, seals appear by rule
What comes outNo — A price and a BOM list — drawings still go to the CAD queueYes — Dimensioned production sheets + estimate + 3D model, in one click
RevisionsNo — Change the quote, then redraw in CAD anyway — two sources of truthYes — Re-run the order — price, BOM and sheets update together, in seconds
Fit to your processNo — You adapt your workflow to the tool — and pay for modules you don't useYes — The tool is shaped to your order flow, sheet templates and title blocks
Ownership & costNo — Per-seat subscription forever; your data on someone else's platformYes — One build + support; private deployment — the rules stay your IP
IF A READY-MADE CONFIGURATOR ALREADY DRAWS YOUR PRODUCT — USE IT. IF IT DOESN'T, THAT'S WHY WE EXIST.
SHEET 10 · WHAT IT'S WORTH

Count your queue.

Two numbers from your last quarter are enough to see what the queue really costs — and what same-day packages change.

YOUR FIGURES × 12 MONTHS · AN ESTIMATE, NOT A MEASURED RESULT
SHEET 11 · WHAT IT COSTS

Three steps. You can stop after any of them.

Nobody should hand a fortnight of their engineer to a supplier they met online. So the first step costs you a file, the second costs a fixed fee and a few hours, and only the third is a project.

    QUOTED AFTER THE PILOT

One product line, end to end. Quoted once the rules are known — never before, because a number quoted before the rules are read is a guess dressed as a price.

If a package already exists for your exact product, buy it.

For stairs: Staircon. For cabinets and casework: Cabinet Vision. For gates, fences and balustrades: CAD60. Any of these will be cheaper than anything we build, and it has been debugged by thousands of shops we will never meet. We exist for the products nobody wrote a package for — which, for made-to-order work, is most of them.

And if your budget for this is under $15,000, a ready-made configurator is a better use of it than a call with us.

SHEET 12 · FAQ

Before you ask.

How long until we have a working system?

A discovery call, a one-week rules audit with your engineer, then a proof-of-concept for one product line in 2–3 weeks. Production rollout and support follow once the PoC earns it.

Does it replace our CAD team?

No — it removes the routine packages from their queue. CAD stays for genuinely custom work; the engineer reviews edge cases instead of drafting the same sheets again.

What do you need from us to start?

Two sample drawing packages and your price logic (a spreadsheet is fine). That's enough to map your product to the engine on the first call.

Our product is more complex than a barrier.

Good — that's where the queue hurts most. We start with your most parametric line, prove it end-to-end, and expand line by line. The barrier case shipped with auto center-posts, braces and mounting variants baked in.

SHEET 13 · NEXT STEP

Your product. Priced — and already drawn.

Bring two sample drawing packages and your price logic to a 30-minute call — we'll map your product to the engine right there.
